This is an Early Reader book for 7-10 year olds based in Florence, Italy. Flora, a 10 year-old detective has to find out who has stolen Gina, a gold egg laying chicken. Flora must fight a dastardly hunter with a stuffed animal museum, a dancing, cheese-eating pirate with a flying ship, and a crazy cat loving neighbour to find out what happened to Gina.
